Kelly McFarling is an Atlanta, GA born, San Francisco Bay Area singer, songwriter and musician who makes songs for long drives and fault lines. With sounds that move between folk, alt-country, and rock, McFarling’s vocals are the constant: warm, assured, often breathtakingly strong.
After moving to the Bay Area in 2007, McFarling has self-released three albums, co-formed the female folk trio Glittersnatch with Megan Keely and Wolf Larsen, and toured with bands Goodnight, Texas, and Y La Bamba. “Water Dog”, McFarling’s latest and most folk-oriented release in 2017, garnered comparisons to Norah Jones, Laura Marling, and Gillian Welch. She is currently working on her fourth studio record to be released in early 2021.
